Some tips of battery installation in electric vehicles

Thebattery is one of the most important parts when we ride the electric vehicles.So everybody will be very concerned about how to extend the service life of thebattery. Regarding the battery installation for one electric vehicle, thefollowing eight points you need to pay attention to.

1. Thebattery installation position is good for air circulation and heat dissipation,the gravity center is stable.

2. Thesize of the battery box should meet the installation and operation requirements,and the gap between any two storage batteries should be bigger than 2mm. Forthe vertical arrangement of the batteries, the vertical direction of thebattery and the battery must be fixed between the batteries, and it is notallowed to be overlapped and compressed.

3. Thebattery box should be flat and smooth inside, the upper part should be leftwith a hole, to ensure that the battery in the process of charging anddischarging of the combustion gas can be successfully released. The parts, likethe door lock, insurance block, which are easy to produce sparks, should beisolated from the batteries, to avoid the occurrence of an explosion accident.

4. Thebattery should be installed upright, not inverted, and no water. Additionally, thebattery must be firmly installed, to ensure that the batteries will not moveand make frictions, at the same time to prevent vibration and compressing.

5. Theseries circuit connection is adopted. That is, a battery connected to thepositive and the other battery negative, put all the battery together, the  remaining positive and negative terminalsconnected to the electric car corresponding connection with wires. (specialbattery connection should follow the battery factory special instructions, withthe approval of the factory). The battery pack is working as one group with thepositive and negative wires connection of the battery, which is not allowed to takethem out.

6. Batteryconnection wire sizes must comply with the relevant electrical installationprovisions. The connection between the battery and the wire is weldedconnection or bolt connection, which must be very firm, welding operationshould not damage the wiring terminal and seal parts, the connection wire isnot allowed to overlap and compress.

7. Whenpeople install the battery, disconnect the electric door lock of the electricvehicle to prevent the occurrence of spark phenomenon.

8. Installation and use of tools should take insulationmeasures to prevent short circuit phenomenon when connecting.
